Julie ReisingJulie Reising, 1st Grade Teacher in the Triad District, is retiring after 33 years of service all at Triad.  Mrs. Reising attended the University of Illinois where she studied and was trained in brain research relating to methodologies used in teaching young children.  Throughout her career, she dedicated a tremendous amount of time working on committees, mentoring new teachers and continuing her own learning.  She has served on almost every elementary committee formed and was never shy about sharing her experiences, knowledge and opinions, which was a benefit to all.  Mrs. Reising is also known for filling her classroom full of stuff that first-graders loved to be immersed in - books, games, posters and puppets.  Without a doubt, Mrs. Reising’s retirement will be filled with family responsibilities, travel to see her kids and projects around the house, because we all know she never stops - she is an “all-in” teacher and person - from morning till night.
